Key Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
  • NC Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Post-high school coursework in animal care or veterinary medicine degree
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Two years experience as a licensed veterinary technician (preferred)
  • One year experience in a zoological setting (preferred)
