Salary

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Registered Veterinary Technician license in California
  • 3+ years clinical experience as veterinary technician
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement skills
  • Digital radiology positioning and performance
  • Complete dental procedures including scaling and polishing
  • General anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Aseptic techniques for surgical assisting

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Avimark software preferred
  • Passion for working with animals and owners
  • Excellent client communication and education skills
  • Adaptable to high-volume busy practice environment
  • Positive and motivating team member attitude

Key Requirements

  • Active RVT license in good standing in California
  • Degree from AVMA-accredited program preferred
  • Eligible to transfer or become licensed within 3 months if not currently licensed
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
