Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • maintenance and repair of lifting devices
  • testing and inspection per NASA-STD-8719.9
  • use of standard personal protective equipment
  • climbing ladders and wearing fall protection
  • preparing detailed deficiency reports within 24 hours

Nice-to-have

  • strong communication and documentation skills
  • ability to coordinate with facility operations managers
  • experience with preventative and corrective maintenance

Key Requirements

  • Experience with maintenance, inspection, and certification of lifting devices
  • Familiarity with NASA-STD-8719.9 and NASA safety requirements
