The Structural Heart Clinical Nurse Consultant is responsible for coordinating the structural heart program which includes: transcatheter aortic valve implantation, transcatheter mitral valve edge-to-edge repair, PFO/ASD and LAA closure, and other related structural heart procedures.
This position is responsible for overseeing the timely screening and preparation of patients referred to the service and plays a central role in the planning and scheduling of procedures, ensuring the patient, multidisciplinary team, and devices are available.
