Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse.
  • Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting oral and/or topical medications, and promptly notifying supervisors of any errors or reactions.
  • The role requires adherence to facility policies and procedures, maintaining resident confidentiality, and participating in quality assurance programs to improve the medication process.
