Job Summary

  • This position serves within the Roadway Policy group of the Office of Design Policy and Support and supports a wide range of services related to roadway geometrics, roadside design, design policy, multimodal design, and ADA compliance.
  • The role includes preparing and updating the GDOT Design Policy Manual to ensure alignment with AASHTO guidelines, federal and state regulations, and national best practices tailored to Georgia's needs.
  • The selected candidate will provide instruction, review research and national practices, serve as a subject matter expert, and assist with legal and complaint investigations related to roadway design.
