The Department of Public Safety is seeking a passionate educator to teach Science courses to at-risk youth in grades 6-12 at the Lenoir Youth Development Center.
Teachers will be responsible for planning engaging lessons aligned with NC Standards, implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and using data to inform instruction.
This full-time position offers state benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, retirement, and health insurance with a salary based on the NC Teaching Salary Schedule plus a 6% supplement.
