The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program in accordance with current standards, regulations, and guidelines.
Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting individual, small, and large group activities, and assisting in providing good communication between employees, residents, and families.
The role involves assisting in developing monthly activity calendars, maintaining attendance records, and participating in discharge planning and resident assessments.
