The Coatings Applications Technician provides technical support for the Decorative Coatings team by assisting with laboratory testing, coatings formulation, and application activities.
This role supports collaboration with internal teams and customers by preparing samples, conducting coatings application testing, and helping identify opportunities for product development and performance improvements.
The technician also supports innovation and development initiatives by maintaining laboratory operations, documenting experimental results, and contributing to projects that advance coatings technologies and product launches.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field preferred
Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related discipline considered
Industrial experience in applications or customer technical support preferred
Basic laboratory experience and familiarity with safe laboratory practices
Experience with coatings application techniques or formulation work is a plus
