Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a Full-time LPN for the night shift (7 PM to 7 AM) to oversee nursing assistants and ensure compliance with nursing care policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a current LPN license, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and be committed to quality patient care

Job Summary

  • Direct the day to day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long term care facility.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication/treatment.
  • Ensure that your assigned work areas (i.e., nurses’ stations, medicine preparation rooms, etc.) are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
