Job Summary
The dispatcher/recorder will provide police communications and dispatching, maintain police files and records, and perform a wide variety of complex clerical duties requiring specialized knowledge in the police field.
The successful candidate must be able to perform multi-tasking work involving answering emergency and non-emergency telephone calls and answering multiple calls at the same time.
A fingerprint background check will be required to work within the Police facility in addition to standard background checks.
