Job Summary
This job monitors and evaluates drug therapy for appropriateness based on the patient’s health status, institutional criteria/guidelines, and cost efficient measures.
Assumes responsibility for the management of pharmacy services to assigned areas for the goal of improving patient outcomes.
Participates with appropriate medical team on patient care rounds; precepts pharmacy students and residents; and provides in-services/education to pharmacy and other health care providers when appropriate.

Key Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School/College of Pharmacy
PGY1 Residency in Pharmacy Practice
Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Louisiana
Eligible for licensure by examination or reciprocity
