Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Child Life or related field
  • 600 hours of Child Life Internship directed by CCLS
  • Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification within one year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
  • Two years and 4000 hours of hospital clinical experience preferred
