Job Summary

  • Responsible for scheduling hospital and ambulatory admissions, coordinating required testing prior to admission, and ensuring all information and consents are on site for patient’s admission/procedure.
  • Arranges types and distributes surgery schedule, communicates problems to Nurse/Physician/Clinical Manager, and performs various clerical duties including faxing, photocopying, scanning, filing and mailing.
  • Demonstrates understanding of submission of necessary documents for hospital and patient procedures, and possesses a working knowledge of booking and scheduling inpatient, outpatient and special procedures.
