It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare tasteful meals following menus and portion control guides.
The position requires cooperation with personnel in all departments and participation in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.

Supervise kitchen operations in absence of supervisor

Participate in staff orientation and training
Experience with PCC preferred
Key Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year cooking experience in hospital or long term care
Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate
Must remain in good standing with Department of Public Health
