This position is responsible for providing higher-level reviews of medical necessity and authorization denials to determine root causes and formulate strategic plans for appealing them.
The role requires expert knowledge of payer authorization requirements to write and submit appeals while analyzing workflows to identify logistical and operational issues for improvement.
