Job Summary

  • The Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and to promote a proactive safety and sustainability culture.
  • This leader partners cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HR, and Corporate EHS to drive strategic initiatives that minimize risk, improve employee wellbeing, and ensure business continuity.
  • The position is on-site, 5 days a week at Charlotte BIC located at 5910-D Long Creek Park Drive, Charlotte, NC 28269.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field
  • 5-10 years EHS experience in manufacturing
  • Lean & Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) (Preferred)
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) (Preferred)
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) (Preferred)
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Preferred)
  • ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Training (Preferred)
