Job Summary

  • The Shift Leader is responsible for coaching and developing a group of associates to ensure daily production expectations for high-quality medical devices are met.
  • This role requires overseeing manufacturing operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) programs while promoting a zero-accident culture.
  • Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and be able to spend a minimum of 75% of their time on the production floor.

  • 5+ years people lead supervisory experience
  • 2+ years medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Cleanroom environment ISO 7 Class 10,000 experience
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP Macros and VBA
  • MRP systems SAP experience
  • FDA Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 CFR Part 11

Nice-to-have

  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management CPIM
  • Bilingual Spanish English proficiency

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 4-year degree engineering preferred
  • 5+ years people lead/supervisory experience
  • 2+ years experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • 1+ years experience in planning and supply chain management
  • CPIM certification preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP/GDP practices
  • Ability to work flexible schedule covering multiple shifts
