Job Summary

  • You’ll be out in the field inspecting roads, bridges, drainage structures, utilities, trails, and other critical public infrastructure that communities rely on every day.
  • You’ll work closely with contractors, municipalities, UDOT representatives, project managers, and engineers to identify potential issues early and address them before they escalate.

Key Requirements

  • 0-2+ years of construction experience (Inspector I)
  • 3-7+ years of construction experience (Inspector II-III)
  • 8-12+ years of construction experience (Inspector IV)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • UDOT Technician Level II required (Inspector II-III)
  • UDOT Technician Level IV required (Inspector IV)
  • Valid driver's license
