Job Summary

  • Performs in-process quality assessments during vessel construction, including compliance audits prior to external surveys, utilizing Visual Testing (VT), or other non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection methods.
  • Provides guidance to production employees and Supervision for workmanship corrections required and shall document, accept or reject workmanship based upon contract acceptance criteria for surface inspections.
  • This position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and withstand varying temperatures, while complying with all safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Minimum six months Quality Trades Support II experience
  • Two years NDT Level II experience
  • Two years maritime experience in trade
  • Level II certification in Visual Testing (VT)
  • US Person Status required
  • Able to work any shift
