Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 5 years petrochemical safety experience
  • Canadian regulatory knowledge WHMIS OHS Act
  • Site auditing and assessment skills
  • Incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Emergency response coordination and drills

Nice-to-have

  • Hydrogen or industrial gas production experience
  • CRSP certification preferred
  • Experience with Sologic incident analysis tool
  • Ability to influence matrixed organizations
  • Classroom training delivery up to 50 people

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years safety experience in petrochemical facility
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related technical field
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada (citizenship or permanent resident)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol test
