Job Summary

  • The pharmacist will use their knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment through reviewing orders to ensure safe and effective medication therapy by evaluating appropriateness of dose, route and formulation, allergies, medication interactions, monitoring, etc.
  • A pharmacist II will assist with technician and student supervision/direction as it relates to day-to-day dispensing functions, tasks, and job duties to provide timely and efficient patient services.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • 3 years of experience working as a pharmacist
  • Pharmacist license through the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy
  • eligible for AR licensure
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D.
  • Completion of a general or administrative ASHP-accredited residency
  • One (1) year of prior supervisory or personnel management experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in the applicable area or PGY-2 residency
  • Board certification or equivalent accredited certification/credentials
